DESCRIPTION
In this course students will learn the technique of oil painting from start to finish. Students will begin painting using a step by step method, and end the course with competency in oil painting. The goal of the course is to equip artists with skills and confidence to continue their artistic formation and make art they are truly proud of!

MONDAY CLASS (FULLY BOOKED)
The goal of the class is to help students learn to create a realistic oil painting from start to finish. They will both practice a comparative measuring technique to paint what they see well, as well as learn to work with oil pain. They will become competent with the steps and techniques of oil painting. Starting from simple subject and building skills to paint more complex compositions I will walk you through every step, helping you develop your skills and confidence.
PERSON IN PAINT
TUESDAY CLASS
This is a class for those wanting to grow in their painting skills and portray people. This class will focus on both portraiture and figure studies. We will cover fundamental anatomy. Students will learn a step by step process that provides tangible ways to portray the person in front of them with accuracy.
SACRED COMPOSITION
THURSDAY CLASS
This class is for those who want to apply their skills to creating sacred compositions. This class covers history of sacred art, fundamentals of composition, hands on practice sketching and idea building and applying all this knowledge to a final work.
