The goal of the class is to help students learn to create a realistic oil painting from start to finish. They will both practice a comparative measuring technique to paint what they see well, as well as learn to work with oil pain. They will become competent with the steps and techniques of oil painting. They will learn how to work in layers, going from general to specific. You will begin painting using a step by step method, and end the course with competency in oil painting. This course will go through the process of oil painting, you will build your skills with the materials. Starting from simple subject and building skills to paint more complex compositions I will walk you through every step, helping you develop your skills and confidence.
